Overview
Seven & i Holdings is pursuing multiple avenues to maximize value for shareholders and other stakeholders, in order to continue strengthening our position as a world-class retail group.
We will continue executing key initiatives that are concrete, actionable and value accretive with speed, while exploring other viable options for value creation.
At the 20th Annual Shareholders' Meeting, which took place on May 17, 2025, 13 Board members were elected. After which, our new management team, led by Steve Dacus as CEO, were appointed in their current roles. The Board will exercise effective governance over and work closely alongside Seven & i Holdings’ management team to ensure we deliver on our commitments.
Our new management team intends to execute its strategy with speed and discipline, aiming to further enhance shareholder and corporate value.

Seven & i Holdings is accelerating the implementation of its plan to unlock value for all our stakeholders through transformational capital and business initiatives. To this end, we are pursuing two parallel paths to ensure that value for shareholders and other stakeholders is maximized: a standalone plan to create value and seek further growth and constructive engagement with Alimentation Couche-Tard (ACT).
Effective Governance
Seven & i Holdings elected 13 highly qualified Board members, including four new independent directors, at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on May 27, 2025. The company’s Board will provide strategic guidance to our management team and oversee them to ensure execution of our value creation and growth strategy through effective governance.
Execution with Speed and Discipline under Strong Management
Seven & i Holdings has assembled a strong management team, led by Steve Dacus as CEO, to accelerate the company’s pursuit of value maximization for all stakeholders.
The management team will ensure Seven & i Holdings will continue with its focus on our customers, maintain the culture of humility and delighting customers with innovation and enhance our partnership with franchisees.
